We are excited to announce our new session with Dary Ramirez & her single "Te Encontre"  Here is a little Q/A that we had with Dary after the session. Hope you enjoy it! 

Siglo Events- Welcome Dary to LA Live Sessions, it’s a pleasure to have you. You are our first female artists. So congratulations, let’s start with the basics. When did you start playing music? What was your first gig? 

Dary Ramirez-  I was fifteen when I started playing guitar and sing in Colombia. I’m a singer songwriter born to make music. Playing the guitar, write and create new things is something that I love. Salsa, jazz, pop and Colombian music is what I used to play the most in school festivals. But it wasn’t till I moved to LA that I got my first professional gig singing in a salsa orchestra for more than thousand people. Working with great musicians and the energy the audience made me feel made that experience unforgettable.

S- This new single, “Te encontre” is pretty energetic. In the song, you sign about how a special person makes you feel.  Who is this song for?  

DR- Hahahaha. I wrote this song for a special person that I’m currently with.

S.E- What’s next for Dary? What can we expect from you guys this year?

DR- Currently I’m working in more songs and finish my EP. So what’s next I would say, more music and I would love to make collaborations with other artist. 

SE- Walk us through your creative process. How does it start for you? How do you develop a song?

DR- It’s always different for me. Sometimes I just grab my guitar and start playing melodies and then I’ll write the song. Sometimes I get together with friends and we write music together.

S.E- If there was one thing in the world that everyone should know about you, what should it be?

DR- That I’m the most sounding person in the world and that I believe in the attraction law.
